Richland County Republican Women's Club hosted the following in recognition of 9-11 Anniversary |
Where
were
you when
the
Twin
Towers fell?
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the day
that changed America
forever! |

We
have two events planned to commemorate that day.
The
first event will be at 6 p.m. on September
10th; we'll show the documentary, "9/11".
While in New York working on a documentary about a rookie firefighter
Jules and Gideon Naudet serendipitously filmed the first plane hitting
the North Tower.
Jules and his brother then followed the
NYC firefighters INSIDE the
Twin Towers, filming the full magnitude of the disaster that occurred
throughout that dreadful day.
In
addition to the movie and
patriotic music, we'll honor our local
first-responders and area military members!
Join us at 6 p.m. at Berean Baptist
Church, 2145 Middle Bellville
Road to watch a film every American should see while paying tribute to our
local heroes. (Parental guidance
is
suggested due to the graphic nature of the film.)
Secondly, at 7 p.m. on September 27th we are honored to
host the film's
director, Jules Naudet. In addition, we will also
be joined by
George Sleigh who was on
the 91st floor of the North Tower when the first
plane hit. (No one
above the
91st floor survived.)
These men will detail their own personal
accounts, give details of
heroic acts they witnessed and recount the many tragedies that unfolded
right before their eyes.
Again, this event will take place at
Berean Baptist Church, 2145 Middle
Bellville Road, Mansfield. We'll meet at 7 p.m. to hear from these
remarkable
men.
Both events are free
and open to the public!

| | OFRW Officers Visit Richland County Republican Women |
Here
are the wonderful pictures taken at Mansfield 9/28/10 at their Richland
County Republican Women's meeting. Had such a wonderful time
tonight and the ladies were so wonderful I wish I could come back
soon.. They were friendly, sweet and cannot say enough about the whole
evening. They will certainly miss you as their President too, Helen..
Maybe you better change your by-laws and stay another 2 years!
