We
run a huge Victory
General at general election time (like most clubs), which we fully
fund. We usually have a fund raiser for women candidates,
multiple "after hours"
events with speakers, sponsor and run many events in support of
community efforts.
About every 3-4 years we organize a women's
leadership luncheon. Last time our speakers were Davidson, Montgomery,
Baker & Anielski ─ with open dialogue.
We work with the Cuyahoga
County Republican Party in the "Support our Troops" yearly event. In
the past 10
years we have sent approximately $80,000 in prepaid phone cards to our
service men and women. We donate large funds to the USO (not via OFRW)
as we have our own USO distribution center about a half-mile from
my home. We've given over $2,000 to them and are currently
supplying sweatshirts to the
Verterans Hospital in Cleveland. We are also supplying furniture to the
USO facility at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

Ms.
McFarland is a FOX News National Security Analyst and appears regularly
on FOX Business News. She is also the host of FOXNews.com’s DEFCON 3,
one of the internets’s most watched national security shows. She is a
national security commentator for several radio programs on FOX, ABC,
WMAL and WVOX. Ms. McFarland held national security posts in
the Nixon, Ford and Reagan Administrations. She was an aide to Dr.
Henry Kissinger on the NSC Staff; member of the Senate Armed Services
Committee Staff; Senior Speechwriter to Secretary of Defense
Caspar Weinberger and later the Principal Deputy Assistant
Secretary of Defense (PA) and Pentagon Spokesman. Ms.
McFarland received the Defense Dept.’s highest civilian award for her
work in the Reagan Administration. She was a Republican
candidate for US Senate from New York in 2006

of the Cleveland Army Recruiting Battalion
Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Patrick Powers graduated from Bowling Green
Senior High School in 1987. He graduated from Ohio University with a
Bachelor of Science in History and was commissioned as a Second
Lieutenant in the Field Artillery in 1991. In 1997 he re-branched
Special Forces. In 2005 he earned a Master’s degree from the US Army
Command and General Staff College. His military education includes the
Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, Ranger School, Airborne School,
Static Line Jump Master Course, SERE (High Risk), Special Forces
Officer Qualification Course, Infantry Officer Advanced Course,
Combined Arms Services and Staff School, Special Operations Training
Course, Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance Target Analysis and
Exploitation Techniques Course, Special Forces Combat Diver
Qualification Course, and the US Army Command and General Staff College.
