Dear Club President:
The 2010 OFRW Fall
Conference will be held on Saturday,
September 18th at the
Embassy Suites in Dublin,
Ohio. We are returning
to this lovely facility, as a convenient and centralized location for
our
members.
- Keynote Speaker - Jonathan Gormley,
Political Director for the Ohio Republican Party
- Multiple Interactive Educational Seminars
to assist in your club development and strengthening,
- Individual District Meetings focusing on
membership and networking
- Entertainment by Award-Winning
Singer-Songwriter Andrew Dean
- And
more…
| The OFRW Board of Directors’ Meeting and Dinner (optional) will be held on: | Friday,
September 17th
Dinner: 6:00 p.m.─Salon #2,
Embassy Suites (COST─$30 per person.)
Board
Meeting: 7:15 p.m.─Salon #2
(FREE─any OFRW
member is welcome.) |
Enclosed you will find more details about the meetings and the
registration form. You
may also register
on our OFRW website at: http://www.ohfrw.com and click on “Upcoming
Events”. If
you register online, you may pay using PayPal. Additionally, there is a
place
on the registration form to indicate if you or your club would like to
become
sponsors of the Fall Conference. Your name will be listed on the
program.
Minimum individual or club sponsorship is $20, and should be
included with your registration payment.
As a fund raiser
for the OFRW, we are once again asking each club to
support the Silent Auction
by contributing a basket. Please let Marilyn Clark
know if you would like to contribute to this effort. Click HERE to email her or call her at: (614) 262-2225.
Currently,
this information is not being mailed to each individual
member; only to club presidents. Therefore, please forward this message
to your
members and REMEMBER, as the Club President, you are responsible for
sending,
emailing, and using phone calls to facilitate the “Buddy” system to get
this
information to each person in your club.
NOTE:
All
registrations/reservations and payments MUST
be received by
MONDAY,
SEPTEMBER 13, 2010. Those
requiring sleeping rooms must make reservations directly with the
Embassy Suites
Hotel. We look
forward to seeing you at
the Fall Conference. We

or perhaps

Create a basket of
goods and/or services that will entice those attending the fall
conference to bid generously AND make other clubs pea green with envy!
This is an important
fundraiser for our organization, so we deeply
appreciate the effort that goes into ‘building’ each basket. |

or e-mail her by clicking HERE
before September 10th to
confirm your club’s participation. We would appreciate:
- donor
identification attached to the basket,
- a brief description of the
basket’s contents,
- its approximate
retail valuation, and
- a
suggested minimum bid.
